Atlantis Submarine St. Maartin

Has anyone been on the Atlantis Submarine tour in St. Maarten? I have not seen it mentioned here. Is it worth doing? Any feedback is appreciated.

We did the Atlantis submarine in Grand Caymen a few years ago and really enjoyed it.

I have done it in Barbados. The cabin is small. Be sure you do not have a problem with enclosed spaces. It took a couple of minutes to get used to but the ride was smooth as silk even when the sea was not. I would do it again.

You may want to post this inquiry on the Caribbean Ports of Call boards. There should be some posts there. The islands all have such different ecostructures and one islands dive may differ considerably from another. The submarine experience would be worthwhile on its own.

I have read some very good reviews on these excursions, but DH and I took one and did not really see anything.....a few fish, not very colorful and a couple of starfish....disappointed to say the least, especially with the $90 pp rate.:(
