maggie7667 Posted September 16, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 16, 2010 Good morning! Has anyone purchased trip insurance through AARP? It appears to be reasonably priced compared to what I've seen on insuremytrip.com. Can anyone offer feedback? Thanks in advance!
Louise22 Posted September 16, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 16, 2010 I must be missing something because I went to the AARP website and they suggested booking through an online broker like insuremytrip or squaremouth or a travel agent or tour operator. That's probably a better idea any way. Since the plans out there are so different and no one's needs are exactly the same it's impossible for AARP to have picked a plan that's right for all of their members. Can't be done. When you purchase a cruise through AARP, whether online or on the phone, they offer trip insurance.
cruiseco Posted September 20, 2010 #6 Share Posted September 20, 2010 When you purchase a cruise through AARP, whether online or on the phone, they offer trip insurance. I'm sure they do. What I'm saying is that the plan they offer may be a terrible choice for some of their clients. The same would be true no matter which plan they recommend.
