Are there any free beaches that are nice, clean and safe that our kids could swim in without strong current or undertow? Thanks in advance!!

Are there any free beaches that are nice, clean and safe that our kids could swim in without strong current or undertow? Thanks in advance!! We just returned fromt there 2 weeks ago. To be honest, Freeport did NOT impress us at all! BUT, to answer your question, there is a nice beach in Port Lucaya, which is about a 20 minute ride from the cruise port. Be prepared to take a van, totally filled with as many people as they can fit in them and they usually won't leave until it is full! The cost is $5 pp each way. There are also lots of shops and a small casino there too. You can either just go to the public beach, which there are no free loung chairs, etc. there or you can go to the resort right there and I believe it is $20 pp to use all of there facilities, including chairs, umbrellas, their pools, jacuzzis, etc. Hope you have a great time!
