Adelaide Port Location and Transport

Hi all,

I am interested in heading into Adeladie city and looking around and doing an independent tour that I saw - but am not sure of the best way to get there from the pier. I can see that there is a train station, but it looks like it takes about an hour to get into the city.

 

Can anyone advise if me Adelaide organise more regular and direct trains on the days cruise ships are in port or if they have a shuttle bus service into town?

Outer Harbour train station is close to cruise berth in Adelaide. Frequent train services from that station to/from Adelaide Central station on North Terrace .

 

Do a Google search for TRANS ADELAIDE and you can find the timetable.

The line is is called Outer Harbour .
