1st Cruise, Sept. 19th on Mercury

Hi All,

 

I'm going on my first cruise this fall. Sept. 19-24th out of Seattle up to Canada. I'm extremely excited and can't wait to go. I have some questions that I thought people here might be able to help me with. Some of you folks seem to know quite a bit!

 

The itenerary says we'll have 3 stops. Vancouver BC, Campbell River BC, and Prince Rupert BC. Since Celebrity didn't have any excursions listed on their website I started looking around the web for things to do. I came across something that looked great, but after e-mailing back and forth with the operator, and then the Chamber of Commerce (of Campbell River) it looks like the ship won't even stop there. I e-mailed Celebrity, but haven't heard back.

 

(Finally my question!)

 

Will they substitute another port instead? How long should I expect to wait untill I know. It's not where we stop that bothers me, any place along the coast will offer great things to do and see, but being able to plan ahead is what I want.
