Zaandam questions????

We have to decide in a couple of days regarding our winter trip on the Zaandam (Hawaii). We would appreciate and current information about how the ship is doing. You know - food, cleanliness, service and how the a/c is working. Plus any thoughts on taking the Sapphire Princess instead?

My family and I were aboard Zaandam to Hawaii this past winter:

 

Service and Food were great - Up to HAL Standards.

The AC was fine too - but the ship itself was in poor condition:

Rust all over the exterior, shredded upholstery, gaps in the carpets, scuffed floors in the Lido, ruined artwork, burnt out lightbulbs, half the clocks were set to the wrong time, telephones that didn't work...

...and the ship had been in drydock 2 weeks before our cruise!

 

Perhaps things have been worked on over the past year, but I found the condition of the ship to be disappointing - Particularly since 2/3 of the cruise was comprised of sea days.
