eap1986 Posted October 21, 2010 #1 Share Posted October 21, 2010 Is there a tour company that takes cruise ship passengers there? Or has anyone taken a taxi? Thanks!
barbados Posted October 22, 2010 #2 Share Posted October 22, 2010 Harrismith Beach (aka Cave Bay) is between Sam Lords and Bottom Bay on the SE coast. Perhaps a 45-60 minute drive from Deep Water Harbour. I don't know if there are organised tours available, perhaps someone else knows. Why don't you make a day of it? Taxi from the harbour S-SE, see Oistins, Sam's, Cave Bay, Bottom Bay and continue up the East coast to Bathsheba and either turn west and then south down the coast back to your ship. There is much in between, but I doubt you'll have enough time to see it all. Just the areas I mentioned may be a 4-5 hour tour with a quick lunch in Bathsheba. A taxi tour is really a great way to see the island. I think you'll be pleased with a tour of the east coast. It's one of the prettiest places in the Caribbean. :)
