Free shuttle from Miami airport to pier?

I read on here somewhere that there was a free shuttle from Miami airport to the Miami port. Is this true? So we figured the difference between the flight into Fort Lauderale and Miami airport is $37. Our shuttle service from FLL to Miami port is costing us $32. So for $5 I would rather fly into Miami because the times are much better. But Carnival says that we still have to pay $32 from Miami airport to the port. I won't take the flight into Miami if we have to pay for the shuttle. But I will fly into Miami if we don't have to pay for the shuttle. The flight gets into Miami at 9:55 AM and it leaves Miami at 2:35 PM. The flight into FLL gets at FLL at 10:35 AM and then it leaves at 2:55 PM to come home. I would rather fly into Miami. But is there a free shuttle service?

No Free Shuttle Service.....at least not if you did your own air arrangements !

The misunderstanding may be if you rent a car from some agencys, they will shuttle you from the airport to the port, when you return the car, for free.
