Do I bring my own Snorkel Equipment

I always bring my own snorkle and mask and use the fins and if needed, the vest, of whatever company I book with. They usually provide everything, included in the cost of the tour, but I'd much rather use my own snorkle and mask . . . it's just a personal "thing." Besides, I like my pink snorkle and mask . . . <G>

I require a prescription mask and there is never a guarantee the operators will have anything close. In addition, I just like the idea of my own snorkel (you never can be sure of hygene standards these days). There have been other threads on this subject and a lot of people carry their own equipment. I use the operator's fins and vest (required for safety) since these are more bulky to carry.

Have a great cruise!
