LaurieHoffman Posted November 1, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 1, 2010 Trying to decide between two ships and room types. Brief history - have sailed Carnival 7 or 8 times. Sailing on July 9th or 10th out of Florida. Could sail from Tampa or Port Canaveral. Choices are Legend or Dream. I know Legend is smaller, older ship. Dream is newer and blinged out. Two room choices and prices are similar Legend - premium balcony is available - Love balconies and in summer weather should be great right? Room size same as Dream - will have 4 in room but kids are barely there Dream - cove balcony's are available. Costs = Legend $3460.00 for all 4, Dream $3768.00 for all 4. What would you do? and why? torn between the very large balcony and the cove ports are almost identical and not really important

What would you do? and why? torn between the very large balcony and the cove ports are almost identical and not really important I had this same dilemma when we booked last year for our Jan cruise. I went with the Dream because it was a new ship. I loved my cove balcony. It was awesome being able to look down at the water and shady enough with the life boats above to not be too hot. Either choice is going to be awesome but since this was our first balcony, I decided on the cove.
