Authentic tacos

Do any of the beach clubs on the east side offer authentic tacos, not the tex-mex ones we're use to here in the US? I'd like to hire a driver to the east side and have him drop us off at a beach club (don't want to do an AI) on the west side afterwards to enjoy tacos and wlak on the beach, but I'm finding most offer the tex-mex style food. Thanks

Rasta's, Playa Bonita, and Mezcalitos all have more authentic local food than the Am-Mex you're used. Cocunuts is good too but a bit more Am-Mex in style, IMO. There are a number of tacquerias in San Miguel, away from the plaza that also have good local cuisine. See some of the threads on authentic food here.
