Wait for My Time Dining

My husband and I are taking a weekend trip on the Majesty. This is the first time we signed up for MTD. We want to make this cruise casual and unscheduled and really don't want to make a dinner reservation in advance.

The question is, how long should we expect to wait for a table? Another question is, are we making a mistake by not reserving dinner times in advance?

Thanks,

Monica

Just like any land-based restaurant, it depends on what time you decide you want to eat dinner. If you walk in without a reservation at a popular time, there may be no tables available and you will have to wait until someone is done eating. It's that simple.

We tended to make reservations, and there were time slots that we could not make them for because all the tables were already full at those times. The few nights that we didn't make reservations, we went around the same time as we always did, and I think we waited once for 5 minutes and the rest of the time were seated immediately.
