alaskankyle Posted November 15, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 15, 2010 my friends and i are looking to go on a carribean cruise on princess dec 28-jan 7th. we just got back from one and it seemed to be a ghost ship.. not a lot of people our age.. (early 20's) we would like to book our new years cruise but would like to know if there is a little bit of a younger crowd of people around this time of year. has anyone been on a princess boat around this time???!!! Burlington ON Posted November 16, 2010 #2 Share Posted November 16, 2010 If you're looking at the Emerald, we're coming with our two daughters and friend - ages 23, 21 and 21. We did the same thing last year and there was a good mix of ages - our daughters had a blast! See our Roll Call - maybe we'll see you on board! itslin561 Posted November 16, 2010 #3 Share Posted November 16, 2010 Princess generally attracks older passengers, however, if you are travelling when school is out there are a lot more younger passengers on board.

We're sailing on the Crown Princess for New Year's and I know that some of the folks on our roll call are traveling with their kids. It's a nine day voyage ending on 1/8, so that might be a consideration. I traveled on the Dawn Princess for New Year's a couple of years ago on the Mexican Riviera and the crowd was a good mix of all ages. Quite the party crowd I must say... :D
