Questions about future cruise

Now that we have sailed once...We have found that we are addicted. We want to do Alaska, possibly next summer or summer 07. How soon do they start listing sailings in the next year? And if we decide to go to a different cruise line, can we do the guarentee booking on other lines or is that a Carnival thing? We chose our room for our first and wish we would have done a guarentee so that we could have been possibly upgraded. We chose the room because of it being close to an elevator, but it really wasn't close at all. Thanks!! :rolleyes:

The 06 cruises will come out soon. You can go on a few sites and choose your cabin or like you said take guarenteen cabin, I like to choose my cabin because of noise and the elevator. I like to have the cabin near the elevator that goes down to the dinning room.
