Has anyone attended the Captains Cocktail Party? Being a Costa ship, having very relaxed dress codes, what would one wear.

 

When is this usually held? Thanks

The Captains cocktail party is normally on the 1st Gala evening, and again on the farewell gala evening.

 

After sailing with Costa twice in the past I would not say that they had relaxed dress codes as such. Most passengers dressed to the dress code of the evening, the Deliziosa which was the last Costa ship we where on had 3 dress codes Gala for gala evenings, formal or semi formal and also neat casual, the dress code forthe evening was printed in the daily newspaper.

costa doesn't have relaxed dresscodes. they just don't enforce the dresscode they have.

On board Costa Fortuna last November it was held in the Theater but the capitan himself could not attend as he was unwell...

 

Gala was the code for that evening.
