Scooter rental

Is Antigua a good place to rent a scooter? Can you get to the beaches and see the sights along the way? Also is it a safe place to drive or are there crazy drivers there?

I rented a scooter from Cheke's Scooter rental exactly 3 years ago on Antigua, I had a blast but you may be better off speaking to someone who has been to the island recently. The potholes and goats are everything they are cracked up to be, I had really good time and its a great way to see the island. Hope that helps Todd

How did you get a hold of cheke's....I have been calling and writing them for a month with no reply. As my husband and I want to rent scooters on February 9, 2011, to explore the island...but have had no success getting a hold of anyone yet.
