Kiwi_cruiser Posted November 23, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 23, 2010 Here are some photos I took when we went down to see some friends of ours leave on the Pacific Sun. The Pacific Sun was late departing (according to our friends the reason why she was late leaving was due to some maintenance took longer then expected) and then it started to rain (see the below photos) so we did not stick around to see her leave in the end. Kiwi_cruiser Posted November 23, 2010 Author #2 Share Posted November 23, 2010 The tug arrived to give the Pacific Sun a hand, but she was not ready... Pacific Sun at night:
Kiwi_cruiser Posted November 23, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted November 23, 2010 The tug came back again.....but she was still not ready... Then a security guard yelled out from below the viewing platform that it was going to be another half an hour before they would be sailing, Not long after that it started to rain so we said Good bye to our friends and started heading back to the car: Pacific Sun in the rain: (at this time the rain got heavy, it was a good thing we had a umbrella with us!!) The Pacific Sun had just come back from her Tahitian Treasures cruise, and it looked liked maybe one of her anchor chains rubbed the front of the ship. I also have a video to go with these photos from my new HD video camera, which I will post soon!
