Celebrity Equinox vs. Emerald Princess: your opinions

I'm debating between these two ships. I've been on Emerald and really like the food. I've also sailed Celebrity Millenium, and liked the entertainment better. Equinox is significantly more expensive than Emerald. Who has sailed both ships? which do you prefer? I'm also interested in any thoughts on the Equinox, thanks

We have sailed both: mini-suite on Emerald; and, AQ on Equinox. We were pleased with Emerald, but overjoyed with the Equinox.

We've been on both. We were in a suite on the Equinox, which was amazing, and we were in a mini suite on the Emerald.

Aside from the cabins, it is a toss up. There was little difference between the two ships. We prefer the Emerald as far as layout. We didn't like how the pre-dinner dancing was in the lobby of the Equinox.
