Motion Sickness Meds free

Hi all,

 

I am getting my list of things needed for my cruise soon. On Royal i would not pack Motion Sickness meds such as Dramamine as they give it out free at the customer service desk. Does Princess do this?

I don't believe so......pack it - it is very expensive in the shops.

My suggestion is to buy Bonine rather than Dramamine, because it will not make you sleepy.

The generic is meclazine-your drug store may have it. Take one a few hours before getting on the ship.

You could probably purchase it in the ship's store. Distributing any medication, even one that's over-the-counter, is a really bad idea. If someone took it and had a reaction, the cruiseline would be legally liable.

No, princess does NOT give out motion sickness meds complimentary. You will have to either take them with you or purchase them in very small quantities in the ships store (when it's open).

The Dramamine Less Drowsy version is also meclizine, though the store brands at Target or Wal-Mart (or other stores) are significantly less expensive and you get quite a bit more tablets with the generics.
