Silly dive questions!

In light of the discussion on the other thread, "there are no silly dive questions from newbies, just silly people who don't ask" I wanted to get a little thread going here about funny/silly questions that Divemasters (or mistresses) have been asked.

 

I already shared on the other thread about the guy who asked how deep he had to go to dive under the island...so I'll open with, "How long do you have to leave the valves on those tanks open before they fill theirownselves back up with air?"

I like to think that the islands have a root system and if they break off, the ships would have to hunt around till they found them.....

Here is a good one I was asked while diving the Papoose off North Carolina:

"Can those sharks (Sandtigers) bite??? Are they trained???"

I answered "Yep, they are trained to take that big grouper right off that spear gun."

Not really a silly dive question but water-related:

 

"I've been living in Seattle for a month now and I still haven't heard that Puget Sound everyone is talking about."
