Oberoi Zahra Nile

Northern Residence

Recommended Posts

We finally made a decision and booked a suite on the Oberoi Zahra for Nov 11. Oberoi has their own docks so there is no "rafting" of many boats. However, the side facing the Nile when docked would obviously be preferable. I vaguely remember reading somewhere that would be the starboard side on an Aswan to Luxor itinerary. Can anyone comment or confirm?

I took a Nile cruise years ago (not on Oberoi), and as I remember the ship docked on the East side of the Nile at both Aswan and Luxor. That would be the starboard side of the ship.
