It depends if you are taking a shuttle from the airport directly to the port or not. If you are comfortable driving you could possibly save $20 or so by renting a car. Rent a car from ORD and drive to their rental location on Cape Canaveral. The rental company should have a FREE shuttle service from their location to the port - usually only a 5-10 minute drive. This is minus the tip of course.

Hope this helps!

Check into limo services. Most companies also have regular cars and vans in their fleet. If at least 3 people are traveling together, then it can be more cost effective to hire a car and driver. Lot less time consuming also. They are waiting for you at the airport and as soon as you have your luggage, you're on your way. With no other stops to let off other passengers.

It cost 6 of us $90 R/T plus tips to get from Orlando airport to WDW via van. Avoiding Mears was a no-brainer. I sure that a port city would have many options to check out.
