Disembarking in Barcelona

We are going on the 10/15 Liberty of the Seas out of Barcelona. I am in the process of getting my air taken care of and wondered if we will be able to make the 10am flight out of Barcelona on Saturday or should be leave on Sunday to be safe?

We were able to make a 10:30 flight but everything went pretty much as planned. The airport is only about a 15 minute taxi ride, and there was little or no customs to go through. If the ship docs on time and you do the walk off option you can probably make it. If you want to be safe have nice lazy morning, get off the ship later in the day and fly out the next day. Just depends on your tolerance for risk.

Thanks, I think we will wait for Sunday. I don't want to take the chance. I have read others have had no problem.. but that was another cruiseline and I think they docked earlier than 6am or had a bit of a later flight than I can get.

We had no trouble when we got off the Voyager there in 2008. It was the easiest departure we have ever had. We got an evening flight out so it wasnt a worry - personally I wouldnt risk it - enjoy a day in Barcelona!

Think thats what we will do. I was looking at airfare last night and if I get a later flight, the price goes up wayyyyyyyy too much!! We are flying in 2 days early, I will sacrifice and stay another day.. haha! :p
