AB suite sleeper couch -- single or double?

Some folks in this forum kindly directed me toward the AB suite as a potential accommodation on the Dawn for an August 2012 sailing to Bermuda. Though the capacity is still listed as 5 people on ncl.com, it DOES come up as an option when I request a stateroom for 6 travelers. We think this means that the loveseat/setee in the photos has been or will be switched out with a sleep sofa by then, like it has been on other ships.

What I cannot find is what size sleep sofa we are talking about. This thread discusses it from the upgrade on another ship: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1115083

Does anyone know if the sleep sofa is a twin or double size? Is it basically the sleep sofa from a standard balcony cabin? A picture would be fabulous, if you have stayed in an AB/SC suite that had the pullout option. Thank you in advance.

Depends on which sofa bed you're talking about. There is a sofa bed in the 2nd bedroom that's a small double. The living room couch in some of the AB's (hopefully the Dawn too, since the room capacity is now listed as 6) has been replaced with a single sofa bed. It's different than your traditional pull-out; it actually flips 180. The mattress is actually zipped into the bottom of the couch cushion.

the sleeper sofa in the living room doesn't pull out exactly... it sort of flip 180 degrees over to turn into a single bed. So the sleeping for six is:

2 in the "master bedroom" queen size bed

3 in the small bedroom: double pull out couch, and single pullman upper berth

1 in the living room on the converted couch

we had 5 stay in one of these type rooms on the Pearl... it was plenty of space, but we had two little kids that shared the double in the small room.... no one used the pullman, and the fifth used the sofa bed in the living room.
