River Cruises in October/November

We're considering taking a river cruise along the Danube (Budapest to Nuremberg) in late October/early November. The biggest reason is this is when the rates are the lowest. However, we're a little concerned about the weather. Without asking anyone to predict the weather, can anyone give us a clue as to what we might expect during that period? Thanks much.
