Disembarking at the Port of Miami

Hello Fellow Mariners,

The NCL itineraries say the ships arrive back in Miami at 8:00am on disembarkation days. Is this fairly accurate? Would the actual process of leaving the ship begin at 8:30am or a little later? I ask because of a commitment I must make on a disembarkation day of a possible cruise. [i am used to Port Everglades cruises which arrive at the pier closer to 6:00-6:30am]. Thanks for your help.

Just off the Pearl yesterday at Miami. We walked off the ship at 7:30am no problem. We were at FLL Airport by 8:15am for our 11:30am flight.

Getting off the ship was a breeze, getting THROUGH the airport was a different story. IF we ever sail out of Miami again, I will fly out of Ft Lauderdale
