Bottomline Can you cruise with your Birth Certificate ONLY?

I got the entire family passports 2 years ago.... Cost me a small fortune, but we took a land trip to mexico so I paid the price... Apparently I put them some place really really safe as now I cant find them anywhere!!! I have searched my house endlessly.. ughhhhh But I am not willing to pay for 4 more passports and then find them.. That is why I do not have them... I would gladly pay the price once but not twice... :D

One last suggestion...a lot of 'lost' passports are found in the outside zipper pocket of the carry-on or shoulder bag you used on that last trip where you needed the passports. If you have not yet checked there, it's worth a try.

And why would I sneak through Mexico to get home???? The US Embassy is there to help people like me get home legally on the very slight chance that I missed the ship or got sick in Mexico. The government would not allow the exception to the rule to exist if they didn't have a way to legally get you home.:rolleyes: Some of us don't live with your paranoia and fear of "something happening"...I don't buy lottery tickets either.:D
