La Popa question.

Of course you can take a cab to La Popa Monastery.

It is a more expensive cab ride, about COP50.000 round trip (US$28???). The taxi driver will take you up the hill and wait for you while you tour.

Taxis tend to be very small... many are subcompacts. Plan on three adult passengers maximum per cab.

..and in some cases be prepared to be very hot.. if the cabs aren't air conditioned it can be just unbelievably stuffy and hot for Cartagena touring. We always are sure to get van with air conditioning
