Pacific Dawn Cruise Fairy

It seems the cruise fairy has visited us. We have been moved from midship Baja deck to Aloha deck under Cafe del Sol. Can anyone tell us if this is a good area. Originally picked midship Baja as we havent cruised before and was a bit worried about the noise from anything above , and thought midship would be better.

I was surprised to see us moved so early, I thought the fairy didnt make an appearance until a couple of weeks before your cruise.

The lido/pool is directly above,,,timber decking and deck chairs made our 2 weeks in the Mini Suite a holiday from hell.I would never again opt for deck 11 Aloha,either in a mini suite or balcony cabin.You can look at previous posts on Pacific Dawn mini suite reviews.

We are not below the pool but below Cafe del Sol. The experience you had with your mini suite is why we booked baja deck in the first place , we thought having cabins above and below us would be quieter.

Hoping now that we it wont be noisy.

But as it is our first cruise , Im sure we will love it anyway.
