Tickets arrived ,but will we actually get there????

You should be ok, the way I see it is that the IE did leave dry dock, and did sail to Tenerife. I expect they found a problem in that trip, and rather than take passengers on board, get it fixed, as the Spirit had a week spare.

 

They must be confident, as the Spirit can't really sail after Friday, as it needs to be in Sharm 6 days later, and I can't really see them offering us Monday cruisers a split cruise, because they'll be stuck with us next Friday, I think they would have cancelled us yesterday if they didn't think it'd be ready.

Yes, i think you may well have something there :) .Have to say we loved the Spirit ,it was our first cruise and holds fond memories for us,we much

prefered it to the big RCI cruise ships . How exciting 2 cruise ships for the price of 1 ! although it were us ,the packing/unpacking in a cabin for 4 might be a sqeeze :D xx
