We're renting a car in Skagway

to drive to Emerald Lake. Have Murray's Guide and all kinds of other info. The problem...I have a sortof map I printed some time back that's says 'wp&yr route'. No clue where I found it. It shows 2 routes headed north following the river, one on each side. Which one is the car route? The one on the 'east' side shows mile markers which leads me to think it's the car route, 'west' side doesn't. The 'east' side shows tunnels. Help?

Assuming that North is at the top, the left (west) side is the highway, the right (east) side the railway.

Yep, assuming emerald lake is north of skagway. Guess those mile markers are for the train folks. Thank you for setting me straight!
