Port Canaveral - EconoLodge Kennedy Space Center?

Has anyone ever stayed at the EconoLodge Kennedy Space Center in Cocoa when cruising in Port Canaveral?

 

It seems to be the most affordable rate with a free shuttle to and from port and free parking. I've read several online reviews - both good, and then not so good.

 

Just looking for a decent, clean place to stay one night pre-cruise with shuttle. I'm just hoping this is in a "safe" area. :confused:

 

Anyone had any experience with this place personally?

Its safe but away from everything. Stay in Cape Canaveral or Cocoa Beach!
