evenings on emerald

hi were booked on emerald 9th oct sailing weve cruised princess before but our friemds who weve talked into coming havent so want to show them a good holiday ,read some reviews about this ship and get the impression after dinner theres not much to do were mid 30,s no children

what is usual evening entertainment ? thanks for help

Evening activities are quite varied and plentiful. Most nights there are 2 shows that can be musical reviews, comics, illusionists and other entertainers. There are multiple venues for shows and entertainment. The bars all have live music playing and dancing. The casino is going full blast in the evenings. Our usual problem is not being able to get all the activities in! Enjoy your cruise - I don't believe you will have one bit of trouble finding fun things to do in the evenings!

We are early 50's and sailed on the Emerald last September. We found it very boring at night. There wasnt much to do unless you made it to one of the shows. We never made it to the theatre at night as we ate late and heard the rush to get to a show wasnt worth it. We did walk around the ship after dinner to have a drink or two...but found most venues empty. It may have been the time of year or others could have all been in the casino. We are sailing on the Emerald again next month and we are hoping it is more active at night.

thanks for replies yes im hoping to for a spoilt for choice evenings, what is average age group? do you find certain cruises have certain age groups? a while since weve sailed princess
