Mom2Evie Posted February 22, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 22, 2011 Recently Carnival downgraded me from a balcony to an category 6E OV. There was an uncorrectable issue with the room I had been given & my suggestion for resolving it was this particular change. I originally booked as Early Saver. Now there is a past guest rate that is about $50 cheaper than the 6E rate I was "rebooked" under. Should I still qualify for the OBC since the fare has dropped? firefly333 Posted February 22, 2011 #2 Share Posted February 22, 2011 When you were downgraded, did they give you OBC? If so then your base price is different. Just make sure you are using the correct base price and if so, then yes. Once ES always ES.

The base price I see now is $50 less than the base price I have after the downgrade. I sent an email to my PVP & she is looking into it. Thanks FF, I appreciate your input.
