bdklein Posted March 3, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 3, 2011 First time on NCL; we are paid in full already. My and wife and I figure to do some gambling (BJ and Craps, no slots) when on our weeklong cruise, but not live in the Casino. Is there some sort of program for which we should sign up, either now or on the ship, where we can earn OBC's, drinks, etc. Or is it not available/worthwhile? And what is CAS/Casino at Seas? Looking for any information ,thanks in advance

Looking for any information ,thanks in advance CAS is definately worth signing up for. The perks are good...however not as good as they used to be:rolleyes:...but still the best of any cruise line. You sign up once on the cruise and usually the first day before sailing if you sign up they give you a raffle ticket to bring back a few hours later and win some small prizes. As far as earning OBC and drinks, that will take quite a bit of play...1500 points for free drinks in the casino (or $7500 run through a slot and even more on BJ). And atleast 2500 points to get $25 back in OBC at the end of the cruise. The best perk is calling CAS after your cruise and booking your next one with them. I have always received atleast a 17% discount up to a comped room for my sailings. Of course this is all based on your play and the next cruise you pick. And if you book with them you automatically get the free drink card for the next cruise. You can do a search on here for casino and there are many threads and posts with info. Froggitt Posted March 3, 2011 #3 Share Posted March 3, 2011 Unless youre doing a few hours every day on BJ on a $25 table, youre unlikely to get much comp. However it doesnt cost to sign up and hand in your card when you play. At least you should get a free $5 matched bet when you sign up.
bdklein Posted March 3, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted March 3, 2011 Thx for the info. Think we wil sign up. I don't initially bet $25-hopefully there are $5 tables for craps and BJ? Any insight on this one? We will be on the GEM April 16th. But we do play a money management system whereby we do increase our bets and minimum if we win.
