Cadiz to Jerez on the train?

2morrow

Recommended Posts

Sure, trip is only around 40 min. There is 10-15 min walk to the station from dock (turn left from port exit and go around the embankment). There is 9:55 am train, next is 11:30am; you have to make 3:18pm return train. Have small euro bills as the vending machine doesn't take large bills or non Spanish CCs and there is a line up in the only open cash window.

Can any one tell me if it is possible and if so the train schedule to go from Cadiz to Jerez to see the horse show? We are in port from 9:00 - 5:00.

Thanks

Barb

Depends where the ship is docked, the bus & train station is outside of South Gates, or 10 mins walk from the North berth .

Feb 2011, just missed the 9.30 train, so took the 9.45 bus, 60 mins, 3 euros ,but caught the train back ,45 min Both stations are next to each other in the center of Jerez

Web site is RENFE, FOR ALL TRAIN TIMES

there is a return ticket 5.5 euros.

BOTH OPERATORS ARE PUNCTUAL
