Arawak Cay

I heard that there's an area down the island from Nassau called Arawak Cay where there's bars to hang in, etc.

 

Can anyone tell me anything more? Is it by Cable Beach, like we could take the #10 jitney that I keep hearing about?

Is it just daytime bars, or if we headed out after dinner, say, 9:00pm, would it be a happening place?
