Eclipse CAbin 9264 or 9270

Just returned from our first cruise on the Connie and are looking to book the Eclipse for Aug 2012.

 

Has anybody got any experience of cabins 9264 or 9270. We were in a 2b on the Connie and are looking at a 1a on the Eclipse.

 

One thing that I want to avoid is overlooking a life boat if possible!! -

 

Is the Veranda any bigger than a standard Stateroom

Both cabins are in an excellent location and according to info on the Solstice Cabin Information sticky, neither cabin has any obstructions. Both have larger than usual balconies but 9270 has the largest, being the first angled balcony off the hump.
