Gem Deck 5-Any knowledge/experience

Just curious if Deck 5 on the Gem is a high traffic area for accessing any public areas, as well as embarkation/disembarkation. And how about noise from above/below? Looks like our rooms are below the casino-port side. Any other info or tidbits?

Thanks in advance for any information.

Just returned from the Gem last week and stayed on Deck 5. 5554. This was the second time we stayed on that level and love it. Deck 4 is the busy one with leaving the ship for excursions not deck 5. We had no noise problem at all. Have a good time.

What a coincidence, we have Room 5554 too, with connecting room 5552! Thanks a lot for the info, and for the good wishes. And putting my mind at ease.

Any recollection on the bed set up for 5554?? Me and wife in one room, and kids in the other (girls 11 and 8). Just want to figure out which room (5554 or 5552) is better for whom
