Insurance providers in UK age 70+

Does anyone have any tips on travel insurance providers in the UK who will cover travellers aged over 70 with pre-existing medical conditions? I've had some quotes and they vary enormously and whilst I want to ensure I purchase a good policy, I don't want to be ripped off!

Dear friends, if you go to moneysupermarket dot com and look under insurance, there is an entire section devoted to travel insurance for pre-existing conditions.

 

I don't think that website has a comparison engine, but it will at least let you go to all insurers that will provide that type of insurance.

 

Don't shop for just price. Make sure that it is a very reputable insurer. Although expensive, one of the best insurers for this type of situation is probably IHI-Bupa. Go to IHI dot com.

Bupa seem one of the best for people with pre-exisiting conditions.
