We made it to ft lauderdale and we are getting on the ruby princess tomorrow. We are staying at the Fairfield inn next to the port. We have a 3 year old and a 6 year old and a 70 year old in tow. Any suggestions on what time we should attempt to board? Thanks!!!!

We like to get on board as soon as poosible. We were just on the Ruby 3 weeks ago and took the 11 am shuttle from our hotel and were on board the ship just after 12 pm.

Thanks! Shuttle was only available at 10:30 and 11:30 so we grabbed the 10:30 one. I'll report back once we get on!

Thanks. All went smoothly. Got on around 12:15 and had a nice lunch. Now we are ready to set sail (5 min late). Of course, one kid fell asleep whole other is playing the iPad so I'm stuck in room while dh is at the sailing party.
