Hey,

We're booked on that sailing. This is our 20th anniversary. We cruised Renassiance in the med 5 years ago and loved it. I'm excited about seeing Naples and Egypt, and I love Santorini but I'm a bit nervous that we haven't received any kind of materials from Costa yet.

Anyone else sailed the Italy,Egypt,Greece itinerary? I'd like to know some basic things like how formal is formal night? how are the excursions?

I'm also thinking about booking either the Romantica or

the Europa for a Fall Mediterranean cruise and would like to

know others' experience on these two ships.

:D

Last year I cruised the Baltic on Europa, and was not disappointed, although the ship is old and needs refurbishment in some areas.

If you like old style ships (similar to old liners) then you will love Europa: very classic and elegant decor, a lot of public space, right size (not too big or small being about 50.000 tons).

If you prefer something modern, then choose another ship.

Food was above average but not great, no lines for buffet breakfast/lunch as they have two buffet restaurants. Service is the usual Costa service, not 5 stars but not bad either.

Have a great cruise
