Transportation from Ft. Lauderdale airport to Miami and back

Hi everyone - we are flying into Ft. Lauderdale March 31 - spending 2 nites at a hotel in South Beach before our cruise. We will need transportation to the hotel, and then will need a ride back to the airport after the cruise. I called Tri County and they will give us a private car to the hotel from the airport for $60 and a private car from the Port of Miami back to the airport for $80.50. Is this a good deal or should I look elsewhere?

Hi Newbie - Give BCs Express (BC@BCsExpress.com 954-873-8383 a try. They are the most reasonable and reliable in the Ft. Laud / Miami area. I use them everytime Im in town. I'll be using them again on 4/3 when I cruise on Costa. If you are looking to worry free transportation you won't be dissapointed with BC. :D

Why not rent a car??? We land in Miami and are sailing out of Ft L. We have rented a car from Alamo for under $30 a day. We can pick it up at airport in Miami and return it to the airport in Ft L. with no penalty. There is a free shuttle to the ship by Alamo. I think all the companies work this way. It will save you a lot of money to rent a car.
