I wrote Papa to ask some questions and he called me at home (long distance) that evening. Nice fellow, just a little hard to understand on the phone with his accent. Answered all my questions. Definitely going with him in Feb 12.

After doing even more research I've found that Island Divers at Ti Kaye resort will also pick you up at the cruise ship dock and take you back there. Their home base of the Ti Kaye resort even serves lunch upon your dive completions. A lot of good reviews for them as well.

 

We used them and had a very enjoyable day. Current price for two tank dive, including round trip boat transfer and a nice lunch, is $140.

 

One good thing is that they also have options if there are non-divers in your group. For example, my wife enjoyed the beach and a massage at the resort while I was diving. There is also snorkeling directly off of the beach.

In St Croix, we used N2 the Blue.

 

They are very convenient to the pier, perhaps a five minute walk ship to shop.
