bearhall Posted April 12, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 12, 2011 Is there any place in the ship that would have more traditional dancing?
Jimnbigd Posted April 12, 2011 #2 Share Posted April 12, 2011 I don't know for sure about the Oasis, but the Voyager had traditional ballroom dancing in the Cleopatra's Needle club (very sparsely attended), a rock/country band in the Viking Crown, and the disco with a DJ -- plus the Schooner bar for the "piano man" (Phil Anderson), and the Aquarium bar for the Rosario Strings (a violin/piano duo with mostly classical style music). Also the ship's big band did a set one evening with dancing. I would hope the Oasis would have nothing less. Best bet would be to find a Cruise Compass for the week. I just found this --> http://public.fotki.com/Radio88/oasis-of-the-seas/cruise-compass--oas/ This shows the Cruise Compass (the daily schedule) for the week For example, day 2 page 5 shows a dance trio in the Viking Crown. That is probably the ballroom-style music.
