Question about disembarkment

We have an 11:10 flight and were going to do the self disembarkment where you keep your luggage with you the last night. It says you can do this from 6 ish am until 7:30 am. Can we get off a little later than 7:30 - like around 8 am?

No, because that's when general disembarkation starts.

 

Self-disembarkation requires you to carry off your own luggage, so you get off first without holding up the line.

Which port and airport? On most, with a flight at that time, you don't need to lug your stuff off yourself! About mid-way thru the cruise, they'll ask you to tell them if you have an early flight....tell them you do, and you'll be in one of the 1st groups off....without having to carry your own stuff!

General disembarkation can start as early as 6:50. Of the 11 different groups (designated by luggage tags), 4 of them are scheduled before 8 am.

 

To the OP: if you carry your own luggage off at 7:30, that's really not much different than 8:00. So, you get to the airport a tad earlier.... just enjoy another Starbucks.

We are flying out Ft. Lauderdale. We don't want to get up super early and have to rush off the ship - a 1/2 hour would give us time to get breakfast.
