Unsure of what to do - seasickness on cruises

Dramamine worked fine for me when the waters were quite choppy due to hurricane season. But I am not someone who typically gets motion sickness.

If you are on one of the megaships you usually do not know you are at sea unless you look out the window. You can put a marble on your cabin desk and it won't move.

I've been on several mega ships and your marble example is not true at all.
