A few questions

Hi everyone,

 

We just booked a cruise out of Miami down to the Bahamas in August. Yeah!

 

We are flying in the night before, and being Aussies have no idea where to stay or what the area is where the cruise ship leaves from. Would a down town hotel be okay to get to the port? We have got to find a hotel that does room service till midnight atleast as we dont get in till 10pm and dont want to be wandering around looking for food.

 

Also would 11:15am flight be to early after the cruise out of Miami?

 

We have done cruises around Asia, and also out of Europe and we have been off the ship before 9am. Is that the same in Miami?

 

We have also booked another cruise out of Seattle for two days after this cruise up to Alaska on RCL. So much to look forward to lol

 

Any advice would be great.

The port of Miami is in downtown ...

When I cruised from Miami last November, I stayed at the Day's Inn, the one on 11th street. They have a free shuttle from the airport, and also a free shuttle to the port the next morning.

Last year we did NCL and stayed at the Sofitel This hotel has a ctsy TOWN CAR that will take you where you want to go and pick you up.

Everything about this hotel is 5 STAR Plus....Just my opinion.........Close to airport.. 15min from cruise port

There are several nice hotels close to cruise port that are less money.

Check internet for hotels Miami.
