Dena Posted May 20, 2011 #2 Share Posted May 20, 2011 I am curious too. I have read about sewer smells on this ship. Has the problem been fixed? Do they show MUTS in Alaska?
simbasmom Posted May 21, 2011 #3 Share Posted May 21, 2011 Coincidently, my son is coming home from the Sea Princess tonight. He docked in San Francisco tonight, and is coming home after spending the last 4 months on the Sea Princess (as a member of the ship's orchestra). I'll ask him about the sewer smell and MUTS. bmench Posted May 21, 2011 #4 Share Posted May 21, 2011 A couple of days ago I spoke to someone who would be on the cruise that just left today they said they would try to do a Live from the Sea Princess but that he didn't have suite but another person on board said he could do it from their suite. So hopefully we will get a report from them I sure would like to know about the weather and who the entertainers. Bmench
cruisehappi Posted May 21, 2011 #5 Share Posted May 21, 2011 Haven't been on board since August 2010, but I can tell you I did not smell the famous "sewer smell" I had heard so much about, and yes, they definetely show MUTS in Alaska. Hope this helps.
simbasmom Posted May 22, 2011 #6 Share Posted May 22, 2011 My son did come home last night. In the 4 months he spent on the Sea Princess, he said he never smelled any sewer smell. He also said that they were showing MUTS in Alaska, at least when he was onboard.
bonezzz Posted May 22, 2011 #7 Share Posted May 22, 2011 Just got off the Sea Princess to Alaska and they do have muts running, didn't notice the sewer smell, and the coffee was good no need for a coffee card. The horizon court can get very busy at certain times. The food and service in the mdr was very good.Casino is small but still fun,the shows were not great but good. This was are first time on Princess and I would be happy to cruise with them again. Alaska was so awesome we had great weather except one day in Ketchican it was overcast and misty but we still had a great day there. There will be a couple of days in Alaska you won't be able to do laundry has something to do about releasing grey water there. Hope this info helps.Hope you have a great cruise. Hi we will be going soon, a couple of questions for you, who were the entertainers if you remember their names, also what movies did they show on board whether on nuts or in the theaters? Thanks
bonezzz Posted May 23, 2011 #9 Share Posted May 23, 2011 There was a comedian and juggler named Dan Bennett he was o.k. he performed in the vista lounge. The British Invasion was pretty good by the princess singers and dancers. Didn't watch any movies but heard they were showing True Grit.
