Gopherit Posted June 12, 2011 #1 Share Posted June 12, 2011 Hi Folks, This is our first cruise on a large ship. Going to the Baltic, St. Petersburg on 16th July cruise. Any advice please on best excursions? We would prefer not to be jammed in with the masses!! We don't have Visas so we will go on the organised ship excursions. We like gardens!! Thankyou
helpthejuggler Posted June 12, 2011 #2 Share Posted June 12, 2011 cruiseforums.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=192 This is a link to the ports forum that covers St. Pburg. The visa problem can be handled by any of the indy tour companies. Read this forum, check your roll call and you will find all the info you need. seashells bonita Posted June 14, 2011 #3 Share Posted June 14, 2011 Hi Folks, This is our first cruise on a large ship. Going to the Baltic, St. Petersburg on 16th July cruise. Any advice please on best excursions? We would prefer not to be jammed in with the masses!! We don't have Visas so we will go on the organised ship excursions. We like gardens!! Thankyou We are going on the same cruise. it is very helpful to read the Roll Call info. We are taking SPB in Berlin and St Petersburg. They seem to have great reviews and they are very responsive to all your questions. I just booked a minivan in Brugge. It holds 8 persons and we are only 2 right now. It is going to pick us up at the ship at 9:00 and return at 1:30. It takes us to the market place and then you're on your own. If you're interesed, you can email me at deniseavagliano@aol.com. There is also another website that a passenger did who took the same cruise last June. There's an amazing amount of information, there. Please email me, directly, because I may never find this post again!
